1994 Maytag SxS Refrigerator: Not Cooling properly, Found frost build up on back freezer panel, needs defrost heater assembly, ordered.

Thats it today!
Have a good evening!
South Willamette Valley, Oregon forcast:
Tonight. Partly cloudy in the evening. Then mostly cloudy with areas of fog after midnight. Lows 50 to 55. North wind 10 to 15 mph early in the evening becoming light.
Monday. Areas of morning clouds and fog. Then sunny. Highs around 85. Light wind becoming north 10 mph in the afternoon.

We’re having a problem with mystery stains from our Kenmore front loader (made by Frigidaire). I think it is coming from the rubber boot that seals the door. I wipe and wipe this thing and still get black gunk off of it like a car tire. This gunk is getting on our clothes. Ever heard of this? Do these front loader boots have to be replaced often? Our washer is less than 2 years old. We never use fabric softener.
Yes,2 possibilites, 1st: may be mold on rubber boot, try cleaning it with baking soda and warm water, if its not mold, then 2nd, This is a rare problem: The tub bearing seal is leaking a oily grease. The Tub bearing will need to be replaced, very, very , expensive. The whole machine has to be torn apart.
