The morning low clouds did burn off this afternoon, very nice fall day here in Springfield, Oregon.
1998 Frigidaire Upright Freezer: Not Cooling, Found Compressor burn out, compressor oil restricted in evaporator, heat exchanger, filter drier.
Spent 4 hours this morning changing all those parts plus installing the new drain pan kit that solders to the condenser tubing(high side) of the compressor that heats the defrost drain water to evaporation. No charge to customer, under the extended warranty contract they purchase yearly. If they didnt have the contract it would have cost close to $1000 to repair, very labor intensive job!
1992 Whirlpool Dryer: Not heating properly, Found cycling thermostat out, replaced cycling thermostat, worked great.
