Posted by: | Comments1998 Sears Kenmore Washer(Whirlpool built)(Model#11028932790): Leaking water from front left corner, This model has a triple dispenser assembly in the front, located in the front under the top lid. Found it leaking from there, cleaned out the dispenser ports and top tub ring holes, worked great.
2002 Sears Kenmore Dryer(Whirlpool built) (Model#11066912691): Motor making a grinding sound when it starts, Found motor bearing has gone out. Part#279787
Motor – Drive
P/N: 279787
Motor used on many Whirlpool/Kenmore brands clothes dryers. Motor has 1-5/8 in. long blower shaft and 1-1/4 in. long drive shaft. Motor is complete with pulley. Blower screws directly onto motor shaft via left hand thread.

1995 Tappan Gas Range(Model#30-3982-00/07) Oven cooking too low, Found oven temperature 40 degrees low, Calibrated oven temperature to match oven thermostat, worked great.
1997 Sears Kenmore Side by Side Refrigerator(Whirlpool built)(Model#10657567790) No water to Ice maker and water dispenser, pulled refrigerator away from wall, poly water supply hose kinked, unkinked, worked great.

Switch – Push to Start Relay

Push to start relay switch used on some Whirlpool/Kenmore brands appliances.
2004 Whirlpool Dishwasher (Model#DU930PWPS0): Not draining water, Found the Motor terminal block pin out of place from where the voltage connector plug from the Micro-Computer comes in.
Reset the pin, worked great.
2000 Kitchen Aid Dishwasher(Model#KUDK01TKWH0): Motor wont start, just hums, Found the motor bearing has gone out. Part#8268422
This motor assembly has a 5 yr. part only warranty.

GE Dryer Heating Elements
Posted by: | CommentsMost dryer heating elements last many years , some seem to only last 3 years or less. Why is this? Its Mainly due to poor air circulation through the dryer and out the customers exhaust vent.
If you notice clothes taking over 1 hour to dry, then this may be the main problem to short heating element life.
A simple test: Pull the dryer away from the wall, disconnect the exhaust hose, let the exhaust air just blow into the room for 1 load.
If you notice the dryer drying the clothes faster, then you have solved the problem. The problem is in your vent exhaust hose, either clogged or something is restricting the air flow where the end of the exhaust hose comes out.

Frigidaire Gas Range Oven Ignitors
Posted by: | CommentsMost Frigidaire and Sears Kenmore made by Frigidaire Gas Ranges use glow bar style Ignitors as seen below.
If the Glow bar ignitor glows but the oven gas does not come out to lite the flame, its a good chance the Glow bar Ignitor is bad.
The Glow bar Ignitor sends a small amount of resistence to the safty valve, so the gas comes on. If the glow bar does not send enough resistence but still glows, the safty valve will not open even though the glow bar is glowing. Confused Yet. LOL 
Just kidding! Sounds complicated but really not.
