Maytag Glasstop Burner Element
Posted by: | Comments2002 Maytag Free Standing Range(Model#MER6750AAW): The left front burner element was not coming on at all, found a break in the element coil. To Replace these you have to raise up the glasstop assembly, then they can be accessed.

GE Defrost Heater
Posted by: | Comments2002 GE Side by Side Refrigerator(Model#GSS20IEMBCC): Not cooling well at all, Found the back wall evaporator and panel in freezer all frosted up, the glass defrost heating element was burned out, no continuity through it at all. The CalRod defrost heaters very rarely go bad and burn out, most of the CalRod defrost heaters are solid black in color.

Amana Water Valve
Posted by: | Comments1997 Amana Side by Side Refrigerator(Model#SXD22S2W)(Manufacturer#P1303503WW): No water coming out from the front water dispenser when the lever is pushed for water, Found the water valve coil shorted that controls the water to the dispenser, the ice maker was getting water from the other coil fine.

Posted by: | Comments2004 Frigidaire Top Freezer Refrigerator(Model#FRT18B4AWA): Not cooling, Found the evaporator/freezer fan motor shorted out. When you open the freezer door and you should hear the freezer fan turning fast, blowing alot of cold air when the compressor is running, Some of the newer freezer fans are variable speed, mostly on the newer GE Refrigerators.
