Maytag Side by Side Defrost Board

Maytag side by side refrigerator(model#MSD2456DEW): Not cooling properly. I took all the food out of the freezer, then took off the panel back inside the freezer and found the evaporator coils all frosted up heavily. I ohmed out the defrost heater and defrost thermostat(while frosty) for continuity, both checked out good. So with both parts testing good, then the only part left is the defrost board. I changed it, worked great.
Its very important not to start defrosting the evaporator coil till you finish ohming out the defrost thermostat part for continuity.
Here’s the defrost board for this model – Part#61005988
