Sears Kenmore Dryer Thermal Fuse
BySears Kenmore Dryer(model#110.66822690): Not turning on when you press the push-to-start button. Found the thermal fuse bad. I did an ohm test on it for continuity, no continuity found.
The main reason this part goes bad is vent restrictions either outside the house where the dryer vent exhausts, or behind the dryer were the exhaust hose/pipe goes into the vent, and even the vent itself can clog with lint, or I’ve seen birds build their nest in there, especially during the cooler months of the year.
