Water Level Switch

1997 Sears Kenmore Washer made by Whirlpool(model#11026842691): Everytime you start the washer to fill with water, it will not fill, it starts agitating, then when you move the knob to reset, it starts filling with water. This washer will need a new water level(pressure) switch.

Water Filters

Its good to change the water filter every 3-6 months in hard water area's, and 6-12 months for other area's the water is not as hard.

Sears Kenmore Washer/Dryer Stackable

2005 Sears Kenmore Washer/Dryer Stackable Laundry System made by Frigidaire(model#41794812301): Making a very loud noise in the washer spin cycle, I found the lockplate to the transmission spin shaft loose, and the belt was burned abit, I reset and tightened the Lockplate Bolts and installed a new belt,

Even Heat Control Board

Refrigerator Water Valve

2002 Frigidaire Side by Side Refrigerator(model#FRS23K7AW5): Not filling ice maker when the ice maker cycles for more water. I found the Water Valve didnt Ohm out properly, no continuity through the coil.

Coupler

2002 Sears Kenmore Washer made by Whirlpool(model#11024832200): Not spinning at all, I found the motor coupler, Part#285753, broken that connects it to the gearcase(transmission). Always make sure you can turn the gearcase shaft both ways, use a wrench in needed, If it won't turn, then the gearcase is locked-up and will need to be replaced as well.
Drive motor to transmission coupling, replaces all previous styles and versions. For direct-drive washers with no belt.

Air Diffuser

2001 Sears Kenmore Side by Side Refrigerator made by Whirlpool(model#10653254201): Not Cooling in the refrigerator section, I put my hand back in the top left corner to see if any air was coming out of the diffuser,none was at all. Part#2216112. I installed the new one, worked great.

Maytag Evaporator Fan Motor

2003 Maytag Freezer on Top Refrigerator(model#MTF2156GEW). The problem was that the refrigerator section was starting to get warm, I found the Freezer(Evaporator) fan motor was not turning at all. It was getting the proper 120 voltage to it. I ohmed it out, there was no continuity through it.

Kitchen Aid Dishwasher Thermal Fuse

2004 Kitchen Aid Dishwasher(model#KUDS01ILWH3): No lights coming on , nothing working at all. I found the Thermal Fuse out, no continuity through it at all. Part#8193762. This part going out is due to excessive hot water. I advised the consumer to turn down the hot water heater in his home. It was very hot coming out of the tap.

New Style Kenmore Front Load Washer

2005 Sears Kenmore Front Load Washer made by Frigidaire(model#41744052400): I have seen 2 of these new re-designed models this year having a sound issue when the washer is just off, not in use. What you will hear is like a humming or whistling sound coming from the front control panel when the washer is completely off at all times.
It will need a new control panel assembly, if you call Sears for a tech. to come out to your home, they will order and install it free of charge under the 1st year parts and labor warranty.

Thermister Sensor

Here is photo and link to a thermister sensor for some Sears Kenmore, Whirlpool, Kitchen Aid brand dishwashers.
If this thermister goes bad, the complaint will normally be the cycle advancing to fast, the dishes not clean, and detergent still in the dispenser.

Freezer on Top Refrigerator Ice Maker

2004 Sears Kenmore Freezer on Top Refrigerator made by Whirlpool(model#10674269300): Ice maker not cycling, making a loud grinding noise at all times. I found the plastic stripper assembly jammed with the ejector blades. I installed a new Ice Maker, Part#4317943.
Replacement icemaker kit, replaces many Sears Kenmore and Whirlpool-made ice makers.
