We have a brand new Amana dryer in a house we are renting. On the auto dry cycle, it seems like the clothes get very hot...and they are dry before the cycle ends. On the timed dry cycle, the timer often runs backwards...say I set it for 60 minutes, it runs backwards for 10 and shuts off. This doesn't happen EVERY time, but most of the time.
Any idea if this is a common thing with Amana? |

Sure sounds strange, call for warranty repairs for the backwards timer but check your dryer vent to the outside for blockage first for the too hot problem...
