Default Bottom freezer slow to cool, min temp 29

I have a 9 year old Amana bottom freezer which is no longer functioning. The FF area seems to be cool enought. I have remove the rear panel of the freezer and found that the defrost sensor and the first 4 inches of the cooling fins have some frost. I can not feel and heat in the coils below the freezer, althought the compresser output seems cold with a warm input. It sounds from the other entries that I may have a big problem. Any point in having this servced? Thanks, John

Like/similier to that?....if yes = system problem....leaker, inefficient compressor would be suspect. BIG problem
