Default Amana range model ARG7600 top

Hi, I have an Amana range model ARG7600, my problem is that only the left front burner lights. It doesn’t matter which of the four knobs I turn the front left burner sparks. My killer problem is that I’m not sure how to remove the top of the stove to get to the sparkmodule or the switches. There are two screws on the burners and I thinks they are what’s holding the top down. They look like they are frozen in place and I don’t want to go through the trouble of drilling them out if that’s not what’s holding the top down. Can someone please give me some guidance on how to remove the top and get to the electronics; also any troubleshooting help would be great. The other thing that I’m lacking is a mechanical drawing of the stove, any help there would also be very helpful. In the past I got that from sears online parts but they don’t have it for my model. Again, any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,

Missing the "P" or "Man" ( manufacture ) numbers.

Normally, all 4 should spark with no matter which burner you turn on.
Possible bad spark module?!?

Normally need to remove the grates, burner caps, burners and screws to raise the top.

Jeff,

Thank you so much for all your help. It turn out to be the spark module, picked one up in the way home from work; no more "when are you going to get someone to fix that?"

Regards,

Frank
