Default Amana Refrigerator ARS9169AS

I have an Amana Refrigerator ARS9169AS in a motorhome...and it recently stopped getting cold. A buzzing noise sounds every 5-7 minutes and lasts about 7 seconds. After reviewing similar posts describing the similar situation, we've made the following assessment:

1) tested the ohm on the compressor starter and it seems fine.

Question then for this forum:

1) want to add a 3 in 1 into the machine, but there is a blue wire coming out of the defrost timer that I am not sure where to splice it into...

...the Run, Start, or Common wire on the Starter?

Thanks in advance for a quick reply

Its not recommended to use the 3-in-1 hard start kit as it may work for awhile but eventually the compressor will still give out down the road.

If you still want it, it comes with instructions, don't splice into the blue wire from the defrost timer, all wiring connections are done at the compressor, the instructions will explain, as it has different instructions for the different compressors.

Manufacturer's Number: RCO410
