Default Lights on nobody home

Amana ARB2117AW, came home after 3 days fridge is dead. Lights work, opened up underneath and it was totally filled with dirt and hair. Have cleaned out but still does not work. Thanks

First try to turn the temp cold control off then on to see if it may reset, if not Pull your refrigerator out from the wall, then take off the lower back access panel and feel your compressor to see if its warm, if not then its either your cold control thermostat or defrost timer thats the cause.


Your compressor is #12 here in the back, and your defrost timer is #342 and that you can get access to from the front when you remove your kickplate grille:


Here's the defrost timer for your model:
Manufacturer part number R0131577 is RepairClinic item number 1156627


Temp cold control in the freezer the part # is C8946703.
Its #1101 here:
