Default Replacing tubing for ice dispenser Amana

    Hello,

I have an Amana double door with water and ice dispenser in the door. I had the tubing underneath the refrigerator to break from being old and brittle. Paid an appliance tech to come and repair for my wife. Well, about a month later, the tubing breaks off even with the bottom of the fridge. If facing the front of fridge it goes up into the right corner behind the panels. I called to see why the tech did not replace the whole line and he said that it could not be replaced because some panels will not come out again after the initial build by manufacturer. I am asking is this accurate or can all the plastic tubing be replaced? Secondly, if so, what is the part number? Lastly, is there any secrets to getting the panels out or to replacing the tubing. Amana model:SDI22GL manufacture #: P7745505WL Is there a diagram of how the tube feeds and the necessary steps to replace it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
    John

I Remember replacing some of these water lines, I believe it will pull out, as it just goes through a conduit tunnel through those panels.

Here is the complete water coil:

    Hello Jake,

Thanks for the info. So really no panels have to be pulled from the inside of the fridge. I wonder why it was such a big deal to the other repairman? Well, I will give it a try. Thanks again for the info.

Usually they don't make them so you have to start pulling panels just to change a plastic water line, so i doubt you would have to on yours.
