Default Amana Dryer Heat on/off

Have an Amana Dryer model DLG330RAW. Dryer heats for awhile then stops but continues to tumble. Have cleaned the vent tray and exhaust hoses. Unhooked the exhaust hose and ran dryer with exhaust blowing in the room and the same problem occured. Took covers off and watched the burner. If let dryer sit for awhile it works good for about 10 minutes. Do see the igniter turn bright orange and burner light. After about ten minutes flames goes off ignitor still bright orange, dryer continues to tumble. While continuing to montinor the ignitor turns bright orange again but no flames, after maybe 10 seconds igniter turns off. Timer seems to work, when this all started though had left the dryer running and returned home 3 hours later to find it still running and not drying, seems like the times was not operating. Timer seems to be working now. Any suggestions onwhat may be causing the heat issue, thermostate, coil...Thanks for any help

Hi,

It sounds like the coils are bad.

You can check this link too:

Here are the coils for your dryer you can buy:
Part#12001349
Gas valve coil kit

I have the same exact problem with the same exact dryer. I replaced both the thermostat and the coils (and checked the venting). It still isnt working. The flame stays lit for a decreasing amount of time each time it lights. The wires are a little toasted that go to the coils. Can I buy new wiring harnesses or maybe just the the ends that plug into the coils and use my own wire?
