For the second time in a couple of weeks I noticed water pooling on the floor by the front right corner of our Amana bottom freezer. Ice had also, for the second time, filled up the area under the pullout drawer. Besides this, both the fridge and freezer appear to be working fine. The defrost drain pan is empty and the coils were cleaned recently. This unit is not connected to a water line. Thanks for your help.

Hi,

It sounds like your defrost drain is clogged.

If you take everything out of your freezer, then take off your back freezer panel inside the freezer, you will need to defrost the ice under your evaporator coil with hot water/hair dryer, then you will see the defrost drain hole. Then just get something to run down that hole to unclog it.
