Washer was spinning, but not agitating. Replaced the agitator shaft. Now it agitates, but won't spin. Motor runs during spin cycle, but shaft barely turns and almost appears to agitate during spin cycle.
We are a little concerned that we didn't get everything reassembled correctly. Is there an assembly diagram we can look at to make sure we have it all lined up correctly, especially on the Neutral Assembly?

You took the transmission apart to change the agitator shaft?
When i see a washer agaitate in the spin cycle, that means a bad transmission, just replace the whole transmission(gearcase).
You could spend hours if not days changing different parts inside the transmission and never get things back to normal.
Then you have to make sure the spin tube assembly is not bad, as well as the clutch. That all effects the spin as well.

Thanks for your reply. We finally got it figured out. We had some issues getting the Neutral Assembly back together, but all is well now. We are agitating and spinning at the appropriate times!!:D

Great to hear that you got it going.
As a Appliance tech with 8-10 service calls a day, I really wouldn't have the time to take apart the transmission to install parts in it. Unless it was a slow day and i needed my 8 hours pay.:cool:Which is extremely rare. Even with free time, i am always wanting to keep my truck stock in a reasonable order.:)
