I have the amana AER5815RCS and suddenly it will not warm up. Thanksgiving day I have a 25 pound turkey and the barely over 1 year oven has taken about 2 hours to hit 350F. Stove works fine, oven will only hit 350 in convect mode, normal bake mode wont go past 180F. Any suggestions?

When you have it in bake, does the bottom element get red hot and then shuts off at 180?

I do not see a red glow, but that may be because the bottom element is hidden under a metal sheet. My wife says she has seen it glow red in the past through the small openings in the sheet metal

I took out the bottom element and took a reading. My ohmeter does not have an x1 setting. I tried a reading at 200 and there was no reading, 2000, no reading, 20k no reading, 200k no reading, 2000k a reading of about 1200 but not stable. I assume that this means the element is toast?
