amana--screaming machine

I have a amana LW6153wm washing machine. Today, it started squealing like it has a time belt on it with very little teeth left. Emptied tub, squeal stopped. Added a few pieces of clothing and it started again. I hand spun backwards, shut lid finished all right. Tried load again same thing. Any idea what is wrong?

There should be another number that starts with a P on your model# tag, Here's the results I get:

Yes it sounds like your belt may be bad.
