KitchenAid KUDI01ILBS4 Problem with Soap Dispenser

I have owned a KitchenAid KUDI01ILBS4 since May of last year.
I don't think I will ever purchase a Kitchen Aid appliance again.
One month afer I purchased it, the soap detergent door stopped opening during the cycle. The inside of the tub got discolored and all of my glass and plastic had a sticky residue that will not come off.
A technician came to look at it and ultimatelty put in a whole new dispenser.

Now it is September and the same exact problem is happening again. I complained profusely to Kitchen Aid telling them that this was a lemon and that I deserved more for my money.

So, now I am again without a dishwasher until next week when a technician will return yet again.

Has anyone else had this problem????

Sorry to hear the problems your having with it, Hope a tech. got it fixed for you.
The KitchenAid brand is a good, its rare to have problems with these.

Dispenser door, pump and motor have been replaced in just over a year.
They might as well have given me a new machine, but so far it is working better.
