For quite awhile now my Frigidaire dishwasher FDB989GFC2 has not been filling correctly and I've had to check to see that water is actually flowing into it. When it doesn't, I manually fidle with the float and eventually it will fill. HOWEVER, now I'm finding the soap tablets on the floor of the dishwasher undisolved. Upon closer inspection it appears that this is due to the fact that at other times during the cycle the water is failing to fill. HELP! We're in the process of getting a new Water Intake Valve and replacing the float......anyone got any other ideas? Other than pitching it out with the trash?
