Problem: Dishwasher, Takes in water just fine. But begines pumping water back out almost instantanously.
Will not stop pumping water out.
Will not start the spraying arms to rotating.
I can not see the display.
I can not get this unit to respond to controls.

The unit was fine till my son opened the dishwasher door and used the open door as a step to the counter top. From then on the door leeked water around the gasket area.

I straightened the hinges and I think I realigned the door to near factory settings. However, I can not test the door for leaks because, I cannot get the unit to begine wash cycle , or rinsing cycle or doing anything but, to take water in and pump the water out seconds later! ?
Help , is it fixable by me or shall I toss the unit, I would like to fix it.

G'day,
The unit was fine till my son opened the dishwasher door and used the open door as a step to the counter top

Wire broken inside the door ( maybe where it bends to open and close ), wire pulled off somewhere from the door opening too far? I'd think that might be a good place to start if all the problems listed started after the door being used as a step stool.
Float/float switch will/can keep the drain pump running all of the time ( esp if water is in the base ) but mostly the fill will not work either, we get drain pump comming on and nothing else. The float is behind the fill valve, many times the d/w must be pulled out to see it.

Failing that, stuck relay on the control?
