I have model KUDA22SWWHO (serial # FA1801142). Service tech diagnosed no power to motor (does have power to touch pad and display) and recommended replacement of control board #4171266.
I'm toldthe control boardwas obsoleted 7/2004, but to "look around". Also that these can be rebuilt.
Any ideas? The rest of the machine is entirely OK.

Thanks, Jeff for quick reply and reference to rebuilders; I'll try them!
Al least if I come up empty after that, I'll know I exhausted the possibilities to rehabilitate this well-loved Kitchenaid...

Jeff,
Your advice seems to be paying off! CG Industries in Carol Stream, IL (cgiltd.com) will rebuildmy specificcontroller in 2-4 days for $160 (including return shipping) and warrant it for 6 months!
Know anywhere I can get a tech manual for KUDA22SWWHO to show me howto get at the controller?
Thanks,
David
