Bosch SHY66C door does not latch

Hi all,
our 4 yr old Bosch dishwasher (model SHY66C) sudenly stopped latching, the unit will operate normally even if door is open, almost like the unit thinks door is latched, any ideas?

Hi, thank you for your help, pardon the abbrvtd model #, it's the SS model with double digital disply, so you suspect a new latch is needed, we have scheduled a service visit. I'll post the outcome,

it was the latch, replaced,everything fine until yesterday suddenly the unit stopped working the display shows the selected wash cycle time but the time does not change and it seems like it continues to drain, no actual washing, i did press cancel drain, and did reset the power but no help:(
appreciate any help,
