View Full Version : Amana Big Oven Glass top removal HELP!

I broke the glass top to the amana range with a marble rolling pin and am now trying to replace it with the shiny new one.
I have removed all the screw in the frot and can lift the old top up but their seems to be hinges on the back that are either rivited (hope not) OR SCREWED but I can not get a screwdriver in there.
Is there an easy way to swap tops?
If not what is the best way to get that thing off.
Please help I am getting hungry:confused:

Ok, good photo's.:)
You will need to pull the range away from the wall then take off the back access panel and the back access panel of the console to get access to those 2 hinges the main top connects to.
