I recently got rid of a dishwasher that did not work and replaced it with a like new Bosch dishwasher my father gave me. I turned it on one night and went to bed. When I woke up it was still running. After reading several blogs I believe what happened was at some point the float became stuck up. However, I am not sure how to locate. I read several things that indicated it was on the left side and other thing that indicated it might be on the bottom. I tried looking under the bottom panel for water but saw no place that would hold it. I dried out the inside drain with a rag. I do not have a shopvac. I even tried dumping water on the inside to "trick" it. I ran a diagnostic that indicated an error code 4. I am assuming I need to locate the float and unstick it. Any help to where that might be would be appreciated. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Bosch customer service is useless. All they do is give you the number of a repair shop. If the fix is an easy one I would prefer to save my money
I have a SHU5315UC/U12
Thanks in advance
