I have a GE WBSR3140D that when used, you can smell grease when washing and grease spots are on the clothes. They also smell of the grease. Is this the pump leaking grease?

Hi,
It could be leaking oil from your transmission. If your washer is under 5 yrs. old, you still have a warranty on that, GE (http://www.geappliances.com/service_and_support/) would just charge you labor to install it.
