Hi--- new to this forum site but others have worked well for me. I have a Jenn-air wall oven that the LCD panel does not illuminate. It is keeping correct time, etc but doesn't light. It does show brighter the hotter (cleaning mode) or longer the oven is on. thoughts?

can't tell you for sure-- it's my mother-in-law's oven. Alot of stress there the last couple years and she doesn't remember. But at least a year--- maybe more. Thanks

It sounds like to me that your clock/control board is going bad.

I have the same model and my clock display does not work. I recall that it started going bad before it went out for good. The oven still works fine and the "beeps" work when you are programming temp with the controls. Would I want to replace the same clock circuit board assembly (71001872). I assume since the beeps and oven work well, that I am getting power to the board.

Were did you find that part# from?

If yours is the same exact model, then you would need the same exact part as I linked to above.
