Disclaimer: I am NOT a professional, just a housewife who likes to solve her own problems.

I have a similar model, with the exact problem. Pull out the ice chest and see the small rectangular opening that has a little bar (about 1") across it. Make sure the bar moves up and down and isn't blocked by ice. Put the tray back in and check.

If that doesn't work (or the bar doesn't move easily), order a new SOLENOID ASSEMBLY from Frigidaire directly. Mine was $40 from Frigidaire, $80 from a repair shop. I removed the back assembly of the ice maker and replaced it all within about 30 minutes. And I'm a girl! Very easy replacement if you're keen on taking things apart. CAUTION: Unplug your fridge or turn off power at the breaker FIRST!!!

Another note - if you do this, make sure that the rest of the unit remains properly insulated. I had my ice dispensing regularly in a matter of minutes, but in a matter of days, the ice maker stopped dispensing completely. I am pretty sure this is because the assembly is now frozen. Frigidaire doesn't do too well on ice dispensers, it seems.

Good job jeina27!:)

Glad you got it put in ok!:3:

Also check the metal rod that sticks out from the ice bin container, move that up and down, sometimes the ice crusher impeller will get jammed.
