SMU 7000 not filling

Hello - what a great site. I recently acquired a used SMU 7000, installed it and voila! No water. Well, a very little water gets into the bottom sprayer but nothing else. The hook up is brand new (remodeling a kitchen) so I am sure the feed is OK.

The heating element has what appears to be two solenoids attached but no float that I can see in the floor of the d/w.

Does this sound like a float issue? Did I get stuck with a bad machine?

Have you checked to see if the plastic inlet is clogged? This happens on the SMU series. I used to work for Bosch Appliances from 1993 - 1998 when we were selling that model. That is a great unit. Cleans like a champ!
