Hello, I havea KUDS01DJSS0 that is 2-3 years old and used to be quiet. It is very loud as it is running. It is working fine but the noise is like a tank. Any ideas or solutions?

Thanks

Hi,

Do you notice it after the wash cycle when it goes into drain as well, or just in the wash cycle?

If its making lots of noise in the wash cycle, i would say you have something stuck down in the chopper assembly area.

This Link here tells more about how to take it apart to check:

Jake, I lookedat your other links and it shows pictures of parts but how do I access them? Inside bottom or take machine out and go at it from bottom? As I said the noise is during wash cycle and the water is filled in bottom over the heater element, so water pressure and washingare working good. I have well water with iron if you need any more info. I did take off the bottom screen and assembly from the inside but nothing is in the open areas. So I am gussing you will tell me take unit out? Model again is KUDS01DJSS0

Thanks Dave

If you took off the bottom screen and there was nothing in the chopper area, then either something got all the way down the pump, or the motor is bad and making the grinding noise.

Check your owners guide, some of those pump/motor assemblies have a 2-5 yr. part only warranty.
