 I have a six year old slide in electric convection jenn-air range. The oven light has never worked but I think I can fix that myself. The oven temperature seems to vary too much when I bake - it'll go down to 330 (from 350) before the oven comes on. Is that the oven sensor?? Also, I don't think the convection works - the fan does but I don't think the oven is "convecting". Any thoughts/suggestions would be helpful. I don't have the model # handy now but I can post it later when I get home. THANKS!!

Its normal for all ovens to cycle an average 350 when set there. So it will turn on at about 325-330 and turn off at about 370-375.

If the fan works, then its convecting.:)
