Hello AllMy question is about a Caloric range, model RHD365 UL; serial #6368382 00.Whenever I roast a large item such as a turkey, it takes about 25 to 35% longer than the estimated cooking time to reach the turkey's internal "done" temperature. Smaller baked items such as cookies, breads, or cakes are never a problem. But every time I roast big item such as a turkey, this oven always takes longer than what the cooking guidlines suggest it will take. I've got the food thermometer placed correctly in the turkey, and have had experienced the same "long cooking times" using three different thermometers.Any ideas on what this problem this seems to indicate, or how to troubleshoot this issue? Thanks in advance for your help

Hi,

A Guess....maybe the temp is fading away the longer the oven is on.

Record oven temps ( on and off ) heating up something ( like pizza ), baking something like the cookies ( chocolate chip ) and then cooking something like a roast and compare.

Checking oven temp.
