I am having a problem with my dishwasher. I woke up the morning to ER flashing on the control panel. Along with the ER flashing, the sensing, rinsing agent low and sanitized and clean lights are also flashing. I have looked in the manual and nothing about that is there. I just went down and shut off the main power to the dishwasher and waited a few mins, then turned it back on, and then tried the washer again and it acted like it was going to start. water sounded like it was entering it. but then nothing the control panel goes blank. Any ideas on what is happening with the year old dishwasher?

Hi,
Unfortunately, your control board is out. This is kinda unusual for it to go bad just as its a year old. You can contact Frigidaire (http://www.frigidaire.com/support/support.asp) to explain how you don't think its right for it to go bad just at the 1 yr. mark. They may be able to cover this under warranty for you.
Here is a new one for your model you can order:<a href="http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=YO6223WzStY&offerid=122738.531711513&type=10&subid=">

Actually Jake, failure of these components well before the life you'd expect to get out of a major appliance is not unusual in the least. Frigidaire's (Electrolux) electronic controls cannot handle the moisture inherent in a dishwasher. I've had to replace mine twice in a dishwasher that's now only 18 months old. A quick Internet search will uncover hundreds if not thousands of posts stating the same problem. Poor engineering design.
