Can the gaskets be repaired is this a common occurence, washer is 2 months old model WCVH6260, looks like a small hole has developed in the bottom of the gasket, leaks water every where. Gasket looks pretty weathered for only being 2 months old.

No, it will need to be replaced. Since your washer is only 2 months old contact GE to have a tech. come out for free under warranty and order/install a new gasket.

Thanks, already set up with GE can't come for 4 days, thanks for the help. any suggestions for after warranty obviously this is an issue seeing as warranty is only 1 year, is there an improved gasket available. This is my second set of front loaders never had the problem with the old one, lots of other problems but no gasket issue's.

No, they are usually the same gaskets. I always let my customers know to always check the pockets of all the clothes, things left in pockets can make holes easy in the gasket boot.
