The thermal fuse blows often lately. Has been changed a couple of times in past. Dishwasher runs fine then goes dead. Fuse holds up for a week or two. Note I have had a heating element go bad. The element was cracked and ceramic interior exposed to water. I thought that the bad element was causing the trouble. I am wondering if there is a way of proving control board good. All other ohm related components are in range. Any help much appreciated. This seems to be a good trouble.

Hi,
Its very uncommon for the thermal fuse to keep blowing like that, could be a hi-limit thermostat problem.
Make sure your water going into the machine is not extremely hot, don't use water heating options on the dishwasher.
This Link should help you as well.

Jake, are you making assumption that hi-limit is stuck in closed position? Im wondering if that is why first coil went bad. Thanks I will try that option first.
