I have an old RF365PXX electric oven/range. The right rear small burner doesn't work. When the infinite switch is turned on, the stove light goes on to indicate a burner is on. Switching elements to another burner finds the element to be working okay in another socket but the previously working burner from the left front does not work in the faulty right rear socket. Can I assume it is the element socket in the top of the range that is faulty, or could it be the burner dial/switch, or another part? I am pretty handy and could replace the socket or another part if needed. Please indicate which part might be needed. Thanks, this forum is great.

Power in and no power out (checked with a volt meter) of the switch = bad switch...physically/visually check the recepticals for being burnt.
