My dishwasher (Frigidaire FDB2810LDC0) will not start or respond on any of the control panel buttons. The display is a flashing (EE). I have researched all documentation i could find in the manual and on the Internet but can not find a code (EE). The dishwasher is approx 1-1/2 years old.

I have tried shutting the circuit breaker off for over an hour then turning back on. It remains flashing (EE).

I disassembled the control panel and the inspected all connections on the circuit board etc. All seem visually fine.

Could someone please help me out.

Thanks greatly.

Take off your bottom access panel below the door, you should see a service sheet there that will explain that code.

Its likely your control keypad panel or control board is bad.

Here is your control panel keypad assembly:

Here is your control board:

Jake, thanks for your reply.

Actually... I did read thru the service sheet found inside behind the door cover. It did not list this particular code. The only codes it listed was the following:

LO .... Low Liquid, etc.
PF...... A power failure occured
HO..... Water heating delay
01 - 24 ... hours for a delayed start.

No (EE) code.

Is there a way to determine which of the two (control panel keypad or control board) is bad?

Thanks again,
Jon

No, without seeing what that code relates to its almost impossible to know which one is bad.

You might want to contact Frigidaire (http://www.frigidaire.com/support/support.asp) tomorrow morning to see if they can tell you what that code says to replace.

Contacted Frigidaire (Electrolux). The were unable to find any (EE) code. ARGH!

Guess I have to do the (expensive) trial and error approach.

Are there any parts stores, that you know of, that will accept a return if the part does not solve the problem?

Thanks,

Jon

There is only one appliance parts company in the USA that I know that will let you return electrical/electronic parts (http://www.repairclinic.com/referral.asp?R=1265&P=28). I will link you to the same parts as I linked you to above, but the bad news is at this time, they are out of stock on both parts, so you will have to wait about 12-14 days to get these parts.

Control keypad panel insert (http://www.repairclinic.com/referral.asp?R=1265&N=1063909)
Main control board (http://www.repairclinic.com/referral.asp?R=1265&N=1063907)

I would order both parts and return the one you don't need.
