there was a noise coming from washer found out it was the belt making noise from wear. The belt was bad so I replaced it. the noise stopped and also replace the pump because it had water coming from the middle.
the pump and belt sit underneath the motor. Now i put everything back together, and now when the washer spins water is coming over the top. this only happens when the washer spins. I was wondering if changing the belt made the washer spin faster and made water come over the top. there is a lip on top of the tub that I did not touch. This problem did not happen before i replaced the belt and pump. Any help would be appreciated
