Hi,
My Whirlpool electric oven model RBS245PDQ12 is not heating (broil or bake).
All the digital display are showing correctly.
It shows pre-heat but after 5-10 minutes no heat at all.
Really appreciat your help.
Thanks,
Zafar

Both bake and broil elements are connected directly to L2 of the main power supply through a thermal fuse/cutout (see the link below) located on the back of the oven.

If that cutout is Ok (ie. not 'open') and the elements' circuit is still connected to L2, I can't see the problem being anywhere except in the electronic control (see the link below) itself. I can't see both elements failing at the same time (assuming that is what occured).

http://www.calendarscript.com/support/forum/icons/icon4.gif BTW. If a thermal fuse is found to have opened (ie. failed), an extensive search should be done to determine the cause. Failure to correct such a cause could result in a dangerous condition and possibly create a fire hazard!

Thanks for your reply.
This is a built in wall oven, any idea how I can take a look at the back of the oven ?
Really appreciate your help.
Thanks
