The machine won't agitate, but spins fine. The drum will slowly spin in one direction instead of moving back and forth, and you can freely move the drum by turning it by hand.
Belt is fine.
Any help is appreciated.

So when its in the wash cycle full of water, you don't hear the motor running and the agitator turning? or is there no sound at all, dead silence?
The drum shouldn't turn freely when its agitating, the brake pads are suppose to hold it in position.
#4 here is the brake pads:

The motor is turning the drum, and the drum moves in one direction, instead of agitating.
Thank you for the reply.

Oh ok, then your transmission (http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=YO6223WzStY&offerid=122738.577520506&type=10&subid=) is shot. If you washer is under 5 yrs. old, then you have a transmission warranty, but you would just pay labor to have the new transmission installed, the transmission itself will be free.
Contact Amana (http://www.amana.com/content.jsp?pageName=CustServ) to have a tech. come out if you still have the warranty if your washer is under 5 yrs. old.
