Here is the appliance I'm having a problem with:

Frigidaire (dishwasher) Gallery Professional Series model# FDB989GFC2 sn#TH90542345. The dishwasher is about 7 years old.

It was working a few days ago, but now it won't respond to anything. It won't start and nothing will light up on the control panel. I went to the basement and reset the breaker as it's on it's own circuit. I now have the PF light blinking along with the "high temp wash" and "no heat dry" lights also are blinking. The washer still does not respond to any buttons that are pushed. After a period of time if I open the door and then close it the lights will go out, but I'm left with a dead panel again. I can't locate my manual to trouble shoot and was hoping someone here could help.

As much as I enjoy watching the wife wash dishes by hand again I haven't been getting much sleep due to sleeping with one eye open.

It sounds like your control board is malfunctioning.

Here is a new one for your model:

I bought the above mentioned control board and it did not correct my problem. Any other suggestions or places to look??

Thats odd, I have replaced that board before and it worked.

Then it may be in the display board itself.

Here is the one for your model:

Remember any part that you order from the links I post, you can return within 30 days for a full refund, if it doesn't solve the problem.

...so what happened on this problem? how was it solved. It looks like $300 of control boards have been suggested.

I have the same problem on the same model... what should I do to fix mine?

bad neutral connection can cause the friggys to do the PF display, check the 2 switches in the door latch for continuity(specially the switch with the white wires) also check for a bad connection where power enters the machine(lil square tin box) tug on the wire nuts (WHILE BREAKER IS OFF)
