I am trying to install a new disposal (there is no disposal now) in a double sink. I would like to install it on the side where the P trap is. However, that means that the horizontal drain from the other sink will have to be moved below the disposal. I was thinking of just re-routing that sink to drain using either an elbow at a 45 degree angle or maybe some flexible piping of some sort. Am I heading for a pitfall here? :confused: As I look around, every install I see on a double sink drains out of that horizontal pipe to the other side then down to the P trap. So, how about it, can't I just let the extra sink join the drain after the disposal?
