Thanks for having this website.

My washer timing no longer clicks when my wife pulls it out to start the wash cycle. The problem is that when my wife goes back to check the status of the wash, she finds that the washer is off. When she pulls the knob, the washer comes right back on and then will finish its cycle. The problem appears that the timer does not click anymore when being pulled out. How do I fix it? Sounds like the off/on contact is broken, the only fix would be a new timer. I don't recommend used parts for appliances, but some here have had luck with used parts, some haven't. It does save money, but there is a risk as well that it may not last long due to previous usage, as parts do wear over time.
