Default Bosch SHU6806 Countsdown to 31 and runs continuously

Bosch SHU6806 Countsdown to 31 and runs continuously. Sometimes the timer will jump up to 32 but it won't finish washing. Any ideas? Thanks.

I do not know this brand but have read in several forums of a burnt control board, this is not letting the water heat so it does not advance, so I would take a look at that board in the console area...

This seems to be a really common issue with these dishwashers (design flaw?) in that the particular place where the solder joint fails is subject to 11 amps of current, which is a healthy dose. If you are adept with a soldering iron, find the spot where it no longer makes/completes a circuit on the control board (it appears to be the same spot as others have indicated in previous posts) and apply a liberal amount of solder, but not excessively, to re-establish contact to the PCB. The key I think is to apply enough so that the current flow does not melt the solder like it does on the factory contacts. I did this and it works fine now, but only time will tell for how long...

Good luck,
Pat
