I have a Bosch SHU43XX dishwasher that won't shut off by itself. It seems stuck in a "drain" mode, with the CLEAN light on. I did find solder joint problems on the controller board and bridged over one relay pin connection - with no change, whatever, in operation.
I put it in "test program" and don't understand what all is supposed to happen. Is the dishwasher supposed to run through its entire operation (90+ minutes)? After a little while the RINSE/DRY light was on and am wondering if this means there's a problem with the water level switch - or that I didn't wait long enough for the cycles to continue (at which time that light might have gone out and others might have come on). Is there any further explanation of the TEST PROGRAM than what is found at: http://www.applianceaid.com/boschDW.html#test I'm really concerned about replacing the whole controller assembly, only to find out a water level or float switch is the simpler (and much less expensive) problem. Thanks for your help. This is a fantastic source of help and information. Doug |
