Bosch dishwasher
Jake
I have a Bosch dishwasher model # SHV4803UC/U07
had sink backup over weekend and fill the dishwasher, tech who installed did not install an air vent, got clog taken care of and turned on dishwasher it pumped out the water but of course did not run, have been readiing the postings, I think the float switch needs to be reset, have taken out filter and cleaned also, thought I could get to it under filter screen, not, do I have to pull out the dishwasher and access it from the side?
thanks

Hi,
Unfortunately, I don't work on Bosch products. Jeff1 has a good Bosch help page here:
Bosch dishwashers
In the first post.
You can also message him and see if he knows.

resetting float switch bosch dishwasher
thanks anyway, but I got it fixed, after flipping through the other postings with similar problem.
after I pulled the dishwasher out and removed the side panel again, making sure all water was out of the very bottom pan, I took about 3 gallons of water and put into tub, after I shut the door the washer started cycling again, I left it out this time to be sure and it completed the wash cycle. reinstalled all looks fine.
