Default Leaks while off

I have a Bosch SMU7052US/09. It has started leaking water into the bottom tray while it is off. It is not from the water inlet so I assume it is the residual water after a cycle. Where do I look for failure modes?

Background. Yesterday during a couple of cycles I noticed no water was coming in. I thought it was yet again another water valve failure. I put in the last one (4th?) in Sept. But after investigation I saw water sitting in the bottom tray. After sopping it up, I poured some water in the dishwasher which then allowed me to run a normal cycle. During this I saw no evidence of new water leaking. I set a fan over night to dry up the remaining moisture. This morning there is a new pool of water in the bottom. So somewhere in the drain system is a seal or hose or component with a slow leak, but I have no idea where to start looking. I'm not even sure I want to.

Maybe its finally time to replace this thing. What do you think?

Thanks.
-Steve

UNPLUG unit. check your wash motor for leak on shaft seal, motor is probably corroded and staining pan underneath it. wash motor #140895 is large one in rear of sump/bottom area, need to unscrew 2 torx head screws from front bottom of side panel and 1 in rear, lift up on top edges to unhang it, then lean top out to release bottom, unhook door spring plastic attachment and can separate one side of the bottom pan - prop it up for more space. NOTE: make sure motor comes with white plastic "snail" covers (#065291- covers) cause seal is inside it. if motor's not too corroded can probably change covers only. LOOK for rodent gnawing also- rubbish or teeth marks on hoses.
