Just over paid for a used Bosch shu5315uc/u12!

It had the circuit board problem that many mention on this site, (Thanks for the help) Opened it up and soldered it, water still was not getting hot thought. what cycle should the water heat up?

no error codes.

New problem, the soap dispenser does not close, do i need a new assembly or is there a part on it I can just replace?

Hey Mark,

The dispenser comes as one assembly so if there is a part broken, you are basically stuck buying the whole thing. This is common anymore, but often unfortunate. As for the heating cycle. The heater should be on during the main wash, and will heat until the temperature sensor is satisfied. So if you soldered the connections on the board, you should also check the heater for resistance with a meter. The heater itself may be open, or the board could be bad and not supplying voltage to the heater. There are a few things you can check with a meter to narrow down the problem so start there and see which component is having the problem.
