Surprise! Bosch Dishwasher not draining completely
Brand:
Bosch
Age:
1-5 years
I have a Bosch SHE33MO2UC Dishwasher that leaves about 2" of cloudy water in the bottom after the wash cycle is completed. I pulled the entire dishwasher out last week, but I could not tell by looking at it how to remove either of the side panels or the bottom panel to get a better look at the pump. I checked the line from the vent to the garbage disposal and that was clear (that was the culprit last time it would not drain), I removed the mesh filter and the ss grate in the bottom of the dishwasher and was able to see the impeller....it would turn about a 1/4 turn and stop both directions so I'm guessing that it okay.
I think I've read every post as it relates to Bosch dishwashers not draining on here and I think I've got some kind of blockage in the drain line. I tried backfilling the dishwasher from the drain line to see if I could fill it that way, but there may be a check valve or something asociated with that system that would not allow the water to backfeed the dishwasher.
Any help would be appreciated....I'm pulling my hair out here. Thanks
