Default "Crackling" sound coming from panel

    Model Number: SHU33A02UC
    Brand: Bosch
    Age: More than 10 years

I noticed for the first time today a strange "crackling" sound coming from the control panel in the top corner near the wash cycle buttons. I wasn't home for the entire cycle to know how often it happened, but I heard it during the last rinse cycle. Any ideas?

Model # SHU33A02UC/14 and it's 12 years old. Also, this is not the original control panel. It was replaced as part of a recall about 2 years ago.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Since we cannot hear it or test for ourselves the problem would have to be investigated when it occurs....relay clicking on the control, burnt/burning wire, board burnt/burning, mouse ...
